On this project our client, an 85 year old man who loves his outdoor space requested us to create him a space which would brighten up his house and reduce the work and maintenance required in tending to this large front garden.
The entirety of this front garden was covering in decorative stone which we had to remove, and as ground preparation is so important we have to dig out the entire space to the required depth. Once this was done we added a concrete edge around the entire perimeter with allows us to fix the grass to nearer to completion. After these stages we added all the MOT Type 1 (approx 100mm) all over, This was then levelled and compacted down.
After, we added approx 25mm of granite dust, hand screeded the area and compacted it down, before fitting the grass.
The client was quite overwhelmed with his new front garden. He is a very house proud man and was over the moon with how much it brighten up his property.
